Wine Tasting October 2009

Riversong Studio held its second wine tasting on Saturday, October 10th. Of course the weather was a major concern with temperatures below freezing during the night and highs only in the 50s during the day. That problem was solved by holding both the seminar and the tasting in the greenhouse, which had been heated all morning. We were nice and cozy in there! John Rathert of General Beverage (Oshkosh) shared some great wine tips and information.  John's laid-back cheerful presentation style set the tone for a relaxed atmosphere.  Good friends and customers, new and old, enjoyed the afternoon trying out several Wisconsin wines along with tasty snacks.  Thanks to all who helped make the event a success!
